  • Senior QA Automation (Java)

    We are looking for a QA Automation with strong passion for problem solving to join our team in Malaga. Working closely with the developers & product owner, the successful candidate will be someone who can drive and oversee the testing effort for Fortris. 

    Whilst the primary focus is on test automation there will also be an element of assisting with the functional testing of our product.

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:
    • Work as part of the Fortris delivery teams with a focus on test automation
    • Work closely with developers to write acceptance & integration tests in java (knowledge of Typescript with be an excellent bonus)
    • Define QA metrics and reports that will be used to determine & communicate testing results
    • Document and raise defects concisely
    • Contribute to small development tasks on our platform when required
    • Work closely with product owners and team delivery leads to assist in release test automation
    • Implement solutions for automating manual e2e & API test plans
    WHAT YOU BRING:
    • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field & 4+ years' experience in test automation or software development
    • Experience designing & executing automation test plans
    • Experience programming in java
    • Experience with Cypress (preferably) or other similar test automation tools like Selenium or Serenity
    • Experience testing REST / event-driven web services in a microservices architecture
    • Experience with git version control system
    • Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team

  • Java Software Engineer

    We are looking for a Java Software Engineer with a strong passion for problem solving and attention to detail to join our team in Malaga.

  • Python Developer - Data Oriented

    We are looking for a mid to senior Python Developer passionate about working with data-driven products. You’ll be responsible for helping the company to make data accessible for various data-powered products. You’ll be working within the Data & Analytics team.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:
    • Design and develop systems to process heterogeneous data from different sources 

    • Design and develop tests to ensure data is integrity and availability 

    • Getting involved in decision-making on tools and infrastructure 

    • Assist with data requirements gathering, data-related issues like reducing manual data 

    • processing, and ensuring scalability within the infrastructure design

  • Application Security Engineer

    We are looking for an Application Security Engineer with a strong passion for problem solving and attention to detail to join our team in Malaga.

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Research, learn and work with the newest tools!

    • Work as part of the Fortris Security Team with a focus on application level security

    • Implement a software assurance model designed to address security defects early in the delivery pipeline

    • Perform security architecture design reviews for new features and product releases

    • Perform code reviews and advise developers on remediation techniques

    • Be an advocate for secure coding practices across all engineering teams

    • Facilitate internal training on various security topics to raise awareness and interest

    • Manage  external-  and  perform  your  own-  penetration  tests,  and  lead  remediation projects to enhance existing security features

    • Improving  the  Secure  Software  Development  Lifecycle,  working  with  and  keeping development teams up to date with secure coding practices

    • Create documentation and presentations for security champions on the development team

    WHAT YOU BRING:

    • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

    • At least 5 years in Cybersecurity and Application development

    • Advanced level of English

    • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree

    • Experience  in  Security  Engineering,  Threat  Modelling,  Penetration  Testing  and Security Code Review

    • Deep  knowledge  of  common  web  application  vulnerabilities  (e.g.  Injection  Attacks, XSS, CSRF, etc.) and their mitigation strategies

    • Experience in OWASP ASVS Implementation and verification

    • Experience in developing web applications and Java programming

    • Deep knowledge of standards and methodologies OWASP, PTES

    • Experience with security assessment tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.

    • Experience with secure coding practices and automating security checks in pipelines

    • Hands-on experience implementing and tuning SAST/DAST
